I had to move to a front doggie seat for my car because Lola gets car-sick (excessive drooling, car aversion). Having gone through other less expensive products I wanted something comfortable and durable so decided to cough up the extra money. It was so worth it!
Since my dog is an old man (bichon 18" inch back length, 22 pounds, big puffer ) we didn't want anything hard and clunky or take our chances with a seat that wouldn't fit him. This seat was great and perfect for us. We already had a few hard stops and the seat did its job.
I have a tiny Mazda and needed something my chihuahua would be comfy in while still staying safe. This fits the bill, he loves the soft sides and tucks right into the seat. It is secure and I feel safe having him in it.

This dog car carrier is amazing. East to install. Keeps dog secure and comfortable. Washable! Has side pockets to store toys etc. My dog loves riding in his seat. He usually falls right to sleep.
